Are you addicted? If you are, what does that look like? The answers are not as simple as you think; and if you don't get them right, you could potentially overdose or even worse, die! That is why a clinical diagnosis of addiction is very important. Having a substance abuse issue is life threatening!
Call now if you are addicted to a harmful substance! 385-345-4115 You may be wondering what the difference is between substance abuse and being addicted? Why do some people fall under a substance abuse definition and not addiction? It can be tricky to diagnose someone who is addicted. Unless they are actively appearing under the influence or in withdrawals, most assessments are based upon client self-report. Unfortunately, there are very few addicts who will tell the truth. usually they are sent for an assessment by the Courts or a fed up family. Every so often an addict will be so sick of their lifestyle they will tell everything they need to to get help during an assessment. At our Christian addiction treatment center, our trained clinicians will meet with you and assess if you are addicted. Our staff is not only well trained at prestigious universities, but also were formerly addicted themselves with years of sobriety behind them now! |
It would be very hard to fool any one of them! And, once you meet with these caring, compassionate clinicians we are positive you wouldn't want to!
The only way to save your life is to make sure you are completely honest with our intake specialists. We are not here to judge; but to help you. It is so important to be as honest as you can because if you have been taking a combination of drugs, or mixing prescription medications with street drugs and alcohol, we need to know so that our medical staff can be alerted to any potential medical complications that could surface. We will monitor you closely for the first 10 days of Christian faith based rehab but we don't want you to suffer needlessly when we have medications to help!
Some clients coming to our Christian drug and alcohol rehab centers who are severely addicted have a lot of experience in “beating the system”. They are used to saying what the assessor wants to hear, and not telling the truth. We rarely get fooled! If you, the Courts or your family is sending you to an addiction center, we know there is a real reason! What we have discovered is that once our therapists and staff show that we take you seriously and that we really do care about you, and not just your insurance or money that almost all of our clients have warmed up and developed strong bonds of trust with their counselors and therapists. It is clear that our staff is much different than most rehabs in that we care about what happens to you.
Be careful when searching for a Christian drug and alcohol treatment to meet your needs. Some Christian rehab facilities only treat alcoholism and even though they will take a heroin addict into treatment, they treat them the same way as an alcoholic using a lock-step method and a one size fits all approach.
